Don’t worry if you have to use an older 6.0 restore to jailbreak with redsn0w, the iOS won’t be downgraded. After jailbreak and boot with redsn0w, don’t forget to add the repository “http://repo.ih8sn0w.com” to Cydia in order to install “p0sixspwn” package that will allow the untethered jailbreak (boot without redsn0w).
